Every time I install a new oracle machine it hits me:<\/p>\n

Why is login.sql<\/span> not executed when I start a sqlplus session.<\/p>\n

So here is a quick reminder for myself:<\/p>\n

sqlplus is not looking in $SQLPATH<\/span> for login.sql<\/span> ….. it is looking in $ORACLE_PATH<\/span><\/p>\n

So set $ORACLE_PATH<\/span> and you will be fine.<\/p>\n
